Sometimes the best love stories start with a little matchmaking and Raven and Michael’s story is one of them.

It all began when their mutual friend, Estebon, decided the two needed to meet. He was convinced they would be perfect for each other, so Raven and Michael decided to give it a shot and go on a date.

And clearly… Estebon knew what he was talking about!

There was an attraction from the beginning, and they enjoyed getting to know each other, but as life sometimes does, it did its thing. Some time passed, life moved along, and they stopped talking. But eventually, Michael decided to circle back and ask Raven out again, and she said yes.

Good thing he did!

This time, they went bowling and little did they know, that bowling alley would eventually become a very important part of their love story.

One date turned into another, and then another. There was plenty of laughing, loving, and getting to know one another along the way. Eventually, they made it official in 2017, and they’ve been locked in ever since.

As their relationship grew, so did their family. Michael didn’t just embrace Raven; he embraced her son, Amari. In 2020, they welcomed another baby boy into their family. Then, in 2024… another boy!

Today, they are the proud parents of three amazing boys who keep their home filled with love, laughter, and, of course, a little bit of chaos.

Will they try one more time for a girl?

Considering their track record, they may want to leave well enough alone before they end up with a whole starting five! But who knows what the future holds, right?

Then came November 10, 2024.

Michael brought their story full circle by taking Raven back to a place that already held a special place in their story—a bowling alley. Surrounded by their family and friends, Michael surprised Raven and asked her to marry him.

And, of course, she said YES! 💍

Looking back, Raven and Michael have grown through so many seasons of life together. They started as two young adults still figuring things out and, along the way, became partners, parents, best friends, and a family. They’ve supported each other, chased their goals, raised three beautiful boys, and built a life they are proud to call their own.

And now…

THEY’RE PLANNING A WEDDING! YAYYYYY! 🥂💍

On July 24, 2027, after nearly a decade of loving, growing, parenting, laughing, and doing life side by side, Raven and Michael will finally get to say “I do.”

Their family and friends have been there to support and celebrate their love throughout the years, so it only feels right that the people they love most will be there when they begin this next chapter.

What started with a mutual friend saying, “You two should meet,” turned into a love, a family, and a lifetime together.

They’ve been locked in since 2017. Now it’s time to make it official…
